Confidentiality

1. Purpose and Scope

This Confidentiality Policy (“Policy”) establishes obligations regarding the protection of confidential and proprietary information connected with the use of the Pron8n online course and services (“Service,” “we,” “us,” “our”). It applies to all users, students, customers, contractors, affiliates, and any other parties who access the Service or receive Confidential Information (“you,” “your,” “User”).

Public Information: Content intentionally published and made available by the Service.

Internal Use Information: Materials provided for participation in the Service but not for redistribution.

Confidential Information: All data defined in Section 2 or labeled as confidential, proprietary, or private.

Highly Sensitive Information: Trade secrets, encryption keys, system credentials, and unreleased features.

5. Our Obligations

We will: use Confidential Information only for operating, improving, and securing the Service or for compliance with law; limit access to Confidential Information to authorized personnel and service providers bound by confidentiality; implement safeguards such as encryption, credential protection, access controls, and monitoring; conduct diligence on third-party providers handling Confidential Information; investigate breaches and notify affected users where legally required.

6. User Obligations

You agree to: keep Confidential Information secure and not disclose it without authorization; use such information only for legitimate participation in the Service; protect your own credentials, tokens, and downloaded course materials; notify us if you suspect unauthorized access or compromise; ensure subcontractors or collaborators are bound by confidentiality terms. Users must not upload to the Service any information they are legally prohibited from sharing.

7. Permitted Disclosures

Confidential Information may be disclosed with prior written consent; to legal or professional advisors bound by confidentiality; to authorities if required by law, provided notice is given where legally permitted; to service providers strictly as necessary to deliver the Service.

8. Exclusions

Confidential Information does not include information that becomes public without breach; was lawfully known to the receiving party before disclosure; is independently developed without reference to Confidential Information; is lawfully obtained from a third party without restrictions.

9. Data Retention

We retain Confidential Information only as long as necessary to operate the Service, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Where feasible, data may be anonymized or deleted upon request unless retention is legally required.

12. Course Materials and Submissions

All course materials provided are considered Confidential unless explicitly stated otherwise. Users may use them only for personal learning. Redistribution or resale without written consent is prohibited. User submissions remain the property of the submitting User, but Users grant us a license to process and display them within the Service.

13. AI Features

If AI-based functions are offered, Users are responsible for the confidentiality of prompts, inputs, and outputs. Such data will not be used for model training without clear disclosure and consent.

14. Breach Notification

If a breach occurs, we will investigate promptly and, where required by law, notify affected Users without undue delay, providing available details and remediation steps.

15. Remedies

Unauthorized disclosure or misuse may cause irreparable harm. The affected party may seek equitable relief, including injunctions, in addition to remedies available under law.

16. Export Controls

Users agree not to export or transfer Confidential Information in violation of applicable export or sanctions laws.

17. Term

Confidentiality obligations remain in effect during the use of the Service and for three (3) years after termination, except for trade secrets, which remain protected while they retain economic value.

18. Modifications

This Policy may be updated to reflect changes in law, technology, or business operations. Updates will be published on the official website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

19. Governing Law

This Policy is subject to the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
